I recall a thread about price of the 997 GT2 and it was said to be the exact same as the 996 GT2 at 191,700. And it's amazing how I hated the rear slats at first, but now they look awesome.

Price i quoted was in rapport to the price difference between a 911 turbo and a GT2. In france TTC price is 139000euros turbo 189000euros GT2, basically 50000euros difference,

0-100 km/h is 0-62 mph not 60.

Here are the official times from Porsche's site.

997 Turbo: 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds
997 GT2: 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds

You also have to consider the AWD advantage of the TT. Besides, with the high horsepower cars out there, 0-60mph is pretty much irrelevant and should not be an indication to gauge how quick a car is.

With the new launch control on the GT2, I think in any event the real world figures will be much better than the official Porsche data, which is always conservative

UK price just confimed to me at £131k, would equate to $262k at current forex rates

The Euro/UK price is always much higher than what it sells for in the USA.

Official MSRP of a GT3 in Euroland is 112,212 Euros. Quite a bit more than the $106,000 US MSRP. Expect the GT2 for the US will priced accordingly.
