Juha is infamous around these parts
19" Wheels for the 996 (street use)

I know this has been discussed here before but I was just browsing Cargraphic's online catalog and saw their 996 GT3RSC that won the Tuner grand Prix in 2005/2006. It has their 19" Racing wheels on and the car looks dope with them.

Would it really make a difference on the car's handling if I run these wheels on the street? For track use I have my 18" BBS racing wheels and I wouldn't even think about running 19" on the track...

I don't push the car on the street the way I do on the track so why couldn't I sacrifice a tiny bit of the performance for looks since after all, I really don't even need all that performance on the street?

Let me have your opinions!

Thanks!

Juha

Do what you want imo! I'm sure you will pick up some great rims in any case!

But keep in mind you'll sacrifice comfort too.

The Cargraphic 996 GT3RSC has also a wider body so it looks so sick (actually, that car was sale in Germany some time ago)

I would rock with wide 18" wheels but who am I to tell...
All sets of wheels I have for the 996TT in sig are 18s too That size fits the narrowbody 996 even better...
