Well, one is Japanese and the other is not, so probably not a direct relation... However, they do act similarly towards their customers at times! I've always had pretty safe interactions with the guy but I've heard countless stories of folks who he yelled at, sent away and just generally acted weird towards if you did not follow his exact instructions and know your order BEFORE your step up towards the counter (which is basically a small door). Make sure you always put your money on the counter b/c he won't take it from your hand directly, either...
