Bay area driving schools

I've just started looking into this, but wanted to see if anyone here has any thoughts on driving schools and programs (1/2 day or full day) in the bay area.

I noticed on Skip Barber's website that they hold sessions at Laguna Seca, and they have high performance sessions, regular driving sessions, racing sessions, etc. I'm looking for something where we can drive 911's (or GT3's), even if not at first, but definitely for a good portion of it (afterall, these cars are different from your typical 3 series or m3)... seems like Skip Barber can do that, but wanted to hear about others.

Again, appreciate everyone's thoughts!

Thumbs up

Not in the Bay Area but DO consider PDE (PSDS).
The Ivy League of driving schools...a great experience...a great track

I haven't heard anything bad about Skip Barber's program out at Laguna Seca. Definitely do the high performance driving school!

Skip barbers high performance driving school has/had a 911, couple of boxsters, a m3 and some 330's. Its a decent course but if you already have some DE experience it will be too tame for you.

My 16 year old son just completed the MX-5 Race school at Laguna Seca. Great program on on a great track. They have all sorts of schools to fit your budget and goals.
