I really dont think his intensions are ever to show off his cars. Most fellow enthusiasts (apparently excluding yourself) simply enjoy seeing people on this board drive these car where they were meant to be driven. Seriously, what are you trying to prove by asking for lap times?

So far, I haven't timed myself at any track. I really go for fun and enjoyment and want to be careful I don't push harder than I need to -- especially in the GT.

With that said, I would like to start timing, so I just have to buy a timer now.

996flt6 is infamous around these parts
As a Pcar owner who loves being out there at the track- your're going to need a laptimer. If your not comfortable with one and find it a distraction(another thing to look at) just mount the receiver and display so u can't see it and review it later. If u do enough trackdays laptimer will be the only guage out there to improve. You just can't guage yourself among the cars u are running with. I love laptimes- even better give me in car videos(u find out what your doing rt and wrong). Mike

I sold the Targa 4S when I got the GT3RS -- can only have one daily driver.
