oh man. cant' wait to get those seats for my GT3. My stock seats weigh 58 lbs each including the rails. Anyone care to guess the weight of the GT2 complete seat assembly?

According to the 2008 Turbo brochure the sport buckets are only 15lbs lighter than the Standard sport seat and 19lbs lighter than the sport adaptive. Makes no sense to me unless they are very heavy. All the techs i know ***** and complain about how damn heavy the sport adaptives actually are. Which leads me to belive that Porsche is fibbing to sell more adaptive seats. I would imagine that they are much lighter but officially this is what it says!

So my standard sport seats weigh 58 lbs. So is it possible that the carbon seats weigh 43 lbs (58-15=43)? If so, it's not worth the $$ is it? Say the carbon seats cost $4-5K each x2. Better money spent on lighter wheels/brake components to reduce unsprung weight.
