why not do a 996TT with GT700 kit plus internals and then MOTONS? it would destroy the GT2 and you'd have $100K left for race gas and speeding tickets?

Why didnt you buy a Evo and spend $50K on it? It would destroy a 996TT?

Because its 997. 996 was the worst P ever...

errr.... sure.... 996TT ala G700... with 640 horses ATW on a race gas program.... worst car ever...

in th GT700 trim it eats Carrera GT's too... really a shame... Ferrari's and Lambo's are no match for them either...

grocery getter with stability management... and over 600WHP... idles all day long in traffic and then smoks motorcycles fom stoplight to stopligt, then on the freeway in roll-on competitions... then does 200+mph... then driven to church by your wife while you attend traffic school... with 10,000 mile service intervals (climate and use dependant) unless you race or track the car...

engineering is TERRIBLE... just terrible that allows this kind of flexability with an essentially stock car...

love the body on my 993C4S but the 996TT is such a well engineered car...

apparently people "upgrading" the 997TT platform have been SNEAKING the NON-VGT turbos into their packages B/C the new design is not as flexable fr tuning... sounding more like a 996...

one thing we now for SURE is that over time, Porsche does improve the platfom, but 996TT "worst ever" is hardly the truth...
