I'm still not clear on whether or not he gave his son the keys or his son took the car for a joyride.

 

If it was my car my son wouldn't be driving it, but that said **** happens to everyone at one time or another. Its just paint and parts, they make thousands of those cars and the parts to fix them. It sucks but it is what it is and you don't throw away an awesome car because it needs some paint and parts.

guys..it looks like he hit the side of his garage..albeit at some speed.
i've accidentally scraped the drywall on the garage backing out and it leaves a similar kind of marking on the bumpers/paint. If you hit it at low speeds it usually can just buff off...but he must have been doing at least 20 to bend everythin around like that

 

It doesn't matter what happened. I hope your son went home with the girl ! Part of being young, hopefully he's OK.

I too, hope that he is OK, the car can always be replaced (but Damn that hurts). Official story is a truck pulled out in front of him on an onramp and he swerved to miss it and clipped the cement barrier onto the interstate...

Thats just a horrible thing to happen to such a fantastic Porsche.
But at least it wasnt a whole lot worse and father and son have learnt a valuable lesson!
