I'm thinking about getting a brand new Gallardo, possibly even custom ordering one. Are the Lambo dealers selling the new Gallardos for under MSRP and if so does anyone know how much under, and what dealers may sell them for that?

But the Gallardo will have a a new facelift to be announced 1st-2nd quarter 09

 

So the facelift is going to be announced in early-mid 09? Is it going to be just a facelift or a new model? And if just facelift, what are they planning on doing?

I would hate to order a brand new car and pay for all the extras and a new model comes out shortly after and then i'll want that...

 

I think a new model since the G is already toward the end of its life cycle. To be honest I am not sure exactly what they are planning on doing. I was looking as well into the supperlegga but started researching as I had a feeling a change was bound to happen in the near future. But then I remembered one of my friends told me that he met some of his friends friends over the summer that own a share in lambo or something like that and that they said something about the G getting a new model in 09 then he asked about the superlegga since it was debuted just about a year ago in the genve car show and they said it was just to compete with the ferrari stradale as a "track car". To be honest this convinced me to wait 2 years or so then having to kick my self in the back 2 years down the road when im stuck with the old model.
