GT700 my TT or Buy a Gallardo?
FWIW - I had a Viper prior to getting the Gallardo, and still have a Z06. With that said, the Viper and Z06 feel faster than the Lambo, but the Gallardo is no slouch.
If you NEED speed/power/torque all the time, then the Gallardo is not the best choice. However, if you can give up a bit of low end torque for the style and features that it offers, then go with the Gallardo.
To me, the Gallardo feels like a sportbike - not much bottom end, but screams up top.

The Gallardo is a true exotic, the only Porsche product that can compete in those terms is the Carrera GT and that is far out of this price range.
It offers more than enough power for street applications.

I am 6' - 220lbs and have no issue with the cabin space at all. I would guess a 6'2"-6'3" should fit, but not if you intend on wearing a helmet for trackdays.
Cool, I am 6'3" .......I need to get over to Orange County lambo and see if I fit in one of these.....
Are you kidding? Gallardo any-day and everyday!!! I have owned 2 modded TT's and 1 Gallardo as well as a Murci... The Lambo is the clear choice if these are the 2 cars you are deciding between...
I am 6'6 290lbs... I was a little crammed in the Gallardo and fit a little better in my Murci... I would say to fit comfortably, to not be over 6'1 or 6'2.
LOL, I wish I can afford an 06.
If I may be bold enough to say this, with the utmost respect, to buy any 6-figure car you should be able to afford it without question. If you have to stretch or make a sacrifice then you should not buy it at all. If you can afford a $130K car and cannot afford a $160K car then you should not buy the $130K car if the extra 30K will break the bank. I don't make a habit of telling anyone how to spend their money but this should be an obvious observation in my opinion. These are not necessities but rather luxury toys and no toy should ever bring any level of financial hardship.
