Lunar Ecilpse

View from the backyard, Topanga, CA.

Wish I owned a better camera.

great shots! I could kinda see the moon last night due to lots of clouds in our area. Did you shoot with digital zoom?

I have a Nikon 8700. 8 mega pixel. I used 10X digital zoom plus a telescopic extender. Once the ecilpse occured, there wasn't enough contrast to get a clean shot. The camera could barely register it. Pity, because from our house, the moon turned a blood red color for 30 minutes or so which was pretty cool.

That's what I had before I got my D80. Great little camera.
