It's not quite as easy as just "stomping on the gas". The SLR has tremendous amounts of tourque and wheelspin is going to happen in any of the 1st 3 gears of the Autobox. Modulating and controling the wheelspin in SLR's is much harder to do than shift an E-gear LP640 IMO.

 

correct. 'stomping on the gas' in a 600+ hp car wont get you very far. and wasnt the lp e-gear? all he had to do was stomp on the gas

 

The SLR isn't stock for sure.

 

slr had a better driver probably but dont forget that a ecu tune and pulley help so much like night a day in certain cars.

Both are very nasty cars but I believe the SLR is faster stock than an LP640 forsure...

The 722 , yes. The standard SLR , no.

 

Keep in mind that the SLR is lighter and is RWD, AWD is just an disadvantage in hi speeds,it steels alot of hp. If you look at all the test and times that has been done with this cars the SLR is faster even stock.

That is a crazy SLR! I for sure was not expecting the LP to get walked on like that

 

May i ask why? The LP only have 14hp more then a stock SLR, the LP is heavier and has 4wd that steals alot of hp. Compare numbers and you will see that there is nothing strange about this video.

 

Yes it is, SLR is faster then LP640. SLR and CGT is very similar in a straight line, and the CGT is much faster then LP640.
