Commercial vehicles?

I recently ran the carfax on a MY04 Gallardo. It shows the first owner reported registered as commercial vehicle. What does it mean? rental car or?

any input will be appreciated.

Thank you

^^ Perhaps it was leased under a company as a "company car" for an owner/exec?

would it show "corporate lease" instead of "commercial vehicles"?

This may seem way off, but what about a rental for an exotic car rental business? There is a place like that down here in Houston.

sometimes, like when we buy our bentleys or trucks from downers grove in illinois we register them as commercial vehicles because anything over 6000 pounds bought in illinois can be registered as a commercial vehicle and be elligible for a tax break or something, but 90% of my dad's cars are registered as commercial vehicles anyways regardless of weight because most business owners do register cars in there businesses name ( i think its for an insurance break thats why) not sure, but one things for sure, its not uncommen to have a exotic car to be registered as a commercial vehicle these days.
