Keep the Callistos as is, you will pay a fortune and loose value if you paint them. Call Hershel at RSC and get his carbon skirts and rear diffuser. Get a set of I-Forged with the Carbon Centers. Then think about some carbon inside. Spyders look awesome with carbon in and out when the top is down. That look would be one of a kind and bad-***. If you were to trade the car later, you could return it to OEM and ebay the parts for most of their value. I considered a car like this before I baught my Aston and had a similar plan. By the way,the car is great right now but I understand wanting to make it unique. I've done it more than once. Good luck and don't forget to post pics when you're done.

I just pulled the trigger on an 07 Gallardo Spyder. After narrowing it down to a new 997tt (too common) F430 (couldn't bring my self to pay over a quarter million dollars for a car) The Gallardo seemed like the perfect choice. Plenty of look, somewhat dependable and a bargain next to the f car. I went with White/black, e-gear. Getting the windows and lights tinted Monday. The question I have is: I am dying to paint the factory callisto wheels white. It seems that everybody is doing black or grey. I think white wheels would look awesome with the white body, black roof and tint. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks, Oleg. Ps. I'll post pictures as soon as I figure out how to do it.

car looks good. yeah the f car is way too expesive.

Just so some people get the picture... he wants to keep the callistos, and paint them...so stop saying he should get black wheels with a polished or chromed lip...
I say go ahead and paint the callistos white, it would look killer! Id have to see this photoshopped but, with the black tinted lights black top, and windows, i think a thin black pin stripe could look great if done well.
also, do not paint parts of the wheel black and parts of the wheel white, would look very tacky.
just my opinion, keep us posted!
