Wheel Powdercoating?

Hey guys,
I need some suggestions on who can Powdercoat my Brother's Callisto Wheels, He wants to do the wheel spokes peice Black and then The lip peice of the wheel orange, Or is there any drawbacks from powdercoating?

costs more but lasts longer and prevent chipping. If he is going to have the lips painted then might as well do the centers painted.

whats the average price on powdercoating 4 wheels?

Since the Callisto's are multipiece, they might have to be dis assembled as well? Which would drive up the price... My stock one piece G wheels ran around $100 each plus tire dismount and remount and balancing.

I am planning to paint my Callistos white. A forum member recommended wheelrefinisher.com They have a place in MD and MI. They seemed like straight up guys. They suggested painting over powder coating. It is less expensive and you have unlimited color choices as opposed to a few for powder coating. If you scrape a wheel, either method will show damage. Also, let them mount the tires in case a wheel gets scratched. They quoted me a price of $150 per wheel to take the wheel apart, paint by code, including mount and balance. It's a 2 hour+ ride for me. I'm planning to go the week of the 18th. If you go sooner, let me know how you make out.

dont do it. riiiiiiiice. just do white calipers.
