Autonews has confirmed that it will be a four-door concept but it will be the first step to a production model. Its name is Urus. Lamborghini has not published anything new.

If you can't see the Autonews link, here is what they say:
Lamborghini sources said the brand's four-door car could be an all-aluminum vehicle based on the platform of the next Audi A8.
The four-door sedan will have a front engine, which will be mounted behind the front axle. It will also have four-wheel drive.
Lamborghini sources said that the production four-door car could have a smaller engine than the carmaker's current smallest unit, the Gallardo's 5.0-liter V-10. This would keep the car relatively short. Audi could supply the engine, which could be a direct-injection, twin turbocharged unit.
Lamborghini would build about 3,000 units a year of the new car, the same number that Aston Martin plans to build.

The "Supersedan" and "4door coupe" markets have been pretty hot as of late, haven't they?
BMW released a concept last year geared towards that market, and with the Panamera and the Rapid coming out soon...hmm, why not?
I'm impressed they managed to keep it under wraps for so long though, we've been seeing spy shots of the panamera for like, 2 years now and we've seen nothing of this lamborghini short of the finished production shots that they've released...

Maybe i'll pass on this one.
Umm...ok. They possibly named it the Urus(meaning large cattle) - that is the best they can do? WTF? If they are intent on naming it after a large furry herbivor, how about they just call it the ***(meaning donkey)? Yeah...sounds aggressive!
I've always believed that "Coupe" specifically is in reference to a car with 2 doors, and "Sedan", "Saloon", etc., refers to a car with 4 doors. So I've never been able to stomach the whole "4-door coupe" thing, sorry. Do we have MB to thank for that?
Why the f*** can't a sports car maker just be a sports car maker and concentrate on making its core product better?
Never mind, I already know the answer...

TBH, I think a 4 door is a retarded idea. Especially one coming from a brand like Lamborghini. It's all about the money though. People would generally not vote for a car like this, but when it hits the market, snobs will buy it just because it's a Lamborghini, it will sell and definitely make money.
I think a redesigned Murcielago or new supercar would be much more of a "hit" then a 4 door with absolutely no leg room, no backseat (heh look at the Mercedes CLS), Audi interior, and another shared audi platform.

The third teaser is here. The press release adds this:
Automobili Lamborghini will unveil its new project at the Volkwagen Group Event ‘Driving Ideas’, in Paris on 1 October.
