Hey guys. Has anyone here retrofitted or know anyone that retrofitted a 2006+ Gallardo navigation head unit & accompanying parts to make it work into a 2004-2005 Gallardo? Is it hard to do? What other parts are needed besides the head unit to complete the install? I wanted to install a sound system at the same time, including amps, speakers & subs. Will the sound system I am installing work well and be compatible with the Nav System?

Any/All info and input would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance!

 

I put a Pioneer AVIC-Z3 in my 04, touch screen with ipod, sat radio, and back up camera, I looked into it, and it was the best option.

 

Yeah, i actually took my factory one out and swapped it for a Alpine 505. The touch-screen is the way to go vs. that factory dial and press. The factory one clearly wasnt designed for this car considering how far away that dial is and such. I'm keeping my factory one to swap back in if i ever were to sell the car, but otherwise, aftermarket was the way to go for me.
