According to Car and Driver in Jan.
at the Detroit autoshow Lambo will introduce the Gallardo Spider due to go on sale a few months later. It will have a much better top mechanism than its big brother the Murci.

I have tried to visualize the car as a convertible but having difficulty. On the road the coupe looks small.

Chordate is infamous around these parts
I heard they will introduce it this september at the Paris autoshow, it would make more sense too, as I dont remember a single Lamborghini or Ferrari unveiling of a car at an american auto show...
