Saw the car along with a SICK flat black LP640 at Platinum Motorsports on Melrose last weekend in LA. Almost had to go to the hospital because of neck whiplash from looking at both cars and also where I was walking while shopping with a female...

its really not that bad. it does look very tall, but its reasonably comfortable.
overall, the gated shifter in my murc isn't as slick as the one in my 360. but the tallness of it, never really bothered me.
you can buy a cut downshaft and ****, but seems expensive to me:
