The Gallardo has become my daily driver

I never intended for it to become my DD, but it has. When I purchased the car it was really meant to be a toy used on the weekends and the occasional track day. Well 2 months in I drive it 5 days a week. The funny part is, it never gets driven on the weekend because the wife and baby won't fit

So far I have only found 1 drawback to the car. It invokes to much attention and people driving around you slowdown and try and speed up to see the car. I'm not complaining as I was not under the impression that a bright yellow G would fly under the radar but its really the only negative I can find so far in daily driving her.

Now if the could just make her a three seater I would get rid of my other cars and take a cab to pick up groceries.

I was thinking more Mclearen F1

than 4 door and 4 seater. Of course I'm not sure how they would do it but its just a dream. I guess I could always get rid of the wifey and have room for me and connor

I think the yellow really draws the eye to the car. I have a speed yellow C4S 993 and it gets so much more attention than the turbo I used to drive.

Nice to enjoy your dd.

Good for you. Cars are meant to be driven, exotic or not. It's great to see a Lambo owner who actually drives their car more than a couple miles a year. Awesome!!

I never understood why people would buy an exotic car to sit in the garage. My concern is that once I get my G I'm going to drive it too much, ha.

Glad to see you're driving it every day. (Like the semprini said) I hate it when people garage their exotics...they were meant to be driven!

two things
1- my friend has a yellow Focus, it doesnt attract $hit
2- When I had my F355, I put 9500 miles on it the first year I had it!!

Drive, Drive, drive some more and drive again!!

To answer a few questions.

I have taken it to some twisty roads and it does very well, all though it has a hint of under steer. Track day is my next adventure with the car. Last track day I used my friends GTR and left the G at home. I wish I would have brought it.

I'm putting about a 1000 miles a month on so she is no garage queen.

DD has become much more fun, the car makes you feel like a movie star.

I believe the yellow does attract a lot of attention but my other choice was the green and I doubt that would have attracted any less attention.

Cheers
Matthew
