I got Hagerty to do it for 1500 YR with 1k deduct

Its fair for being 27...Grundy was much cheaper but they are not responsive at all. so i didnt want to take a chance in case of an accident

Insurance

Be careful with companies like Haggerty and Grundy. There are definite exclusions to coverage....(i.e. cant drive to work, no errands....show or event coverage only, pleasure use).

JFYI, Im in Maryland near you, 37, clean record, 08 Superleggera as a 5th vehicle with ERIE for about $1200/year. Stated a value, 500k liability, $250 deduct on comp/coll.

Pejman,

Call John McCombs at Liberty Mutual Insurance....His number is 703.753.5688. He's been covering all my cars since 2000.

Otherwise, go with a stated value policy....heck of a lot more money dependent on what you state as the value of the car but usually they are no questions asked policy so if the car is stated value at $150,000 even though you purchased at $100K, but added mods, etc, they'll cut you the check in the event the car is stolen or totalled. Not 100% sure, but check. I suggest calling Jonathan (pearlecoupe35) here on the forum. Great guy and he can get you the insurance policy you are looking for.......I plan on using him for the 997 GT3 (my next purchase).

G/L and looking forward to seeing the new ride.

Berk

PitbullSL500 is infamous around these parts
Don't forget to have "under insured" as well as the normal "un-insured" coverage. Some drivers only carry limited coverage.

Save yourself the trouble and call a Chubb agent in your area. You might pay a bit more for the coverage but if anything happens to the car you will have THE BEST claims service ever. I am sure John will confirm this as well. All the big national companies suck for cars like this.

I also live in VA and insured my 07 Gallardo w/ State Farm. They have a office very close to my house so it worked out well.

Liberty mutual quoted me but was a bit high...Will wait for a requote once he gets to it...State farm was fair but will have to wait to hear back Monday on if they can

The last quote from them was 650 for 6 months...that was really fair
