Monterey blue LP..Black wheels or not???HELP.

Hey guys,

Just trading in my 2003 Murcie for a 2008 LP640 coupe...

Listen...I know i'm completely crazy...but it's what I want....I've been dreaming of a Monterey Blue Lp640...6 Speed MAN...because Egear is great...But the feeling of a clutch is something I can't replace...

My Lambo dealer has a Yellow Lp640 6 Speed Man.....with yellow stitching and yellow calipers...

Well here's the catch............ I am getting the car repainted in Monterey Blue....at the lambo dealer paint shop...

My sales rep is freaking out...but its my car and my wallet...so i'm doing it...

Now...i'm wondering if I should get the wheels powdercoated in piano black or leaving stock silver..

I like both...but I need your help to make my decision...

Here are pics to help you guys...

Good god thats a beautiful car. Can you get them powder coated in Hyper Black or black chrome? I think that would look great.

so if we say we like the black wheels better are you going to get black wheels? never understood these kind of posts. get what you like, hey you are getting a yellow murci and painting it blue so if you listened to what others say you wouldn't be doing that either.

nice first post

good choice on deciding on the black wheels, it just looks a lot more aggressive!

& i would definitely consider vinyl wrapping the entire car, i wrapped my entire car in flat black, it's no lambo but it comes off & doesn't depreciate the value of the car..

I'd vote for dark grey wheels.

Thanks for the feedback guys...

Yes its for sure...the wheels are going shiny black...Calipers are already Yellow.....As for wrapping...I thought about it...but I really dont care about the depreciation...not to brag...but money is not really an issue...I want to keep the car for long time...

Also I will be sending it to Kevin at Underground Racing this winter to get a TT kit....so it will be a keeper...

I am already on the list for the 2012 LP replacement...so that one will be stock and non repainted..

They are starting to strip the car in 3 days...and then it will take 2 weeks before completion...I will post the whole process shortly...

Thanks guys.

I prefer silver. You can always have them painted black later if you change your mind.
