Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there can help. I was out running errands this morning in my 06 Gallardo Spyder E gear so a bit of stop start driving. On one start up the check engine light came on with 1-5 next to it. This has stayed on.
Does anyone know what it means, I have checked the manual and it just refers me to the dealer.
Could it be referring to one side of the engine, left or right bank as it shows 1-5 and it being a 10 cyl engine.
Any help much appreciated.

Wish i could help but on my 03Murci same thing happened, with aftermarket exhaust the dealer said my left engine bank was running hotter than the other. Said car would need new plugs coils and tune up. Haven't done it yet oh my left catalyst light comes on too but only after running it hard. Something to consider!

 

Thanks. Car has under 8000 miles and had 15000 mile service(through time not mileage) carried out at 6200. I hope all that does not need replacing on mine with so little miles. My car is stock.

Anyone else any ideas what the 1-5 next to the check engine symbol means?
