Resale values of Gallardos compared to F430's

I checked MSRP's of when they were new and they're similar.

But when I checked prices for 06-08 F430s compared to 06-08 Gallardos.
F430's hold their value much better.

I've never driven an F430 but is it that much better?

They made too many Gallardo's and the market is saturated with used ones compared to the 430's. I heard this from a few different exotic car dealers here is S.Cal.

I think it's not because the F430 is a much better car, it's because the Ferrari brand name carries more value than Lamborghini

if both cars cost the same amount of money, most people will buy the Ferrari
