Speed - agree 100%, manheim is a tough indicator of what these cars are really doing as there simply aren't enough sample points. As for the 06, I specifically didn't get one b/c of the gearing (I have a 6 speed) as I wanted the taller gears since I plan to go TT. As for e-gear, IMO the 04-07 e-gear is junk and you really get into the good stuff in 08. If you ever plan to TT it I would recommend an 08 and newer. Just my 0.02

We've got a family friend who works for Manheim at the Detroit auto auction, I'll try and see if she can get any info for us on this. Do you guys think the price will go down in coming years? Let's say 3-4?

Yes, prices will go down in time as with any normally produced car...but question is, in 3-4 years when the Gallardo might be what we view the 360 now, would you still want it?

I'm not trying to flame here, but you have Lambo you should know that the e-gear is fine on 06+.. It has been updated for the accelerated clutch wear issue.
Actually, come to think of it, I beleive all the e-gears were updated prior to 06 to address it as well. I'll se if I can dig it up on the lambo forum

Just wanted to add that the 04-06 egears are fine if everything has been updated. I had mine checked out when I did the PPI and dealership was able to confirm that all the campaigns have been done on the car. You just need to find a car that was meticulously maintained.

Anyone have any advice as to a good price for a 2008 Spyder with about 5,000 miles. Seems like it has most options, is black on black and is in great condition. Thanks in advance.
