You could say alot about 50 or any other rapper in the music industry. However, more then a few have used their initial capital from music to go into other ventures. Ice-Tea wrote a book that at one time became intergrated into several high profile college philosophy courses. Sir-Mix-Alot is was heavily invested into land developement. Puff Daddy "as stupid as his name sounds" is taking in money from dozens of companies all doing very well. That and most insane is "birdman" he owns a share in a freaking oil rig.
Say what you want but if you work so hard for your money starting with nothing and reach such a level of income why not twist the knife. Why else do we all want to buy a "hyper" car. I'm sure it's just for the power, looks, and how well they drive
