If you read the post you quoted he actually stated that the SuperG is slower. This is as a result of it being e-gear vs. 6-speed. The 6-speeds can handle more boost up top at least in the configurations that Atomic has had.

That is interesting on the e-gear vs 6 speed. I thought they were identical.

 

Nice. Question is if the e-gear shifts fast enough to outweigh that extra power the 6-speed has or not.

 

The first car was an "R" version. Over 1500whp. The new car is a Stage 3 @ 1250 whp.

I originally wanted a white SL but none were available when I did the original build. A year later and one was available so I made the switch.

It has something to do with '07 car egears not working as well as '08 and up egears. That is why I went with a manual in the '07.

 

04-05 have different ratios from the 06 and up. 06-08 are the same. However, the electronics controlling things (Egear) are different through the years.

 

How are theese things on a track? Im pretty sure all that power wont work well. What do you reckon is the most power you'd want to run on a track before It becomes too much? Like 7-800?
