Another UGR TT build. This time it's my car.
when launching these high horsepower ttg's do you roll the car out more or just come ***** out..i been watching a couple of vidz online and sometimes i feel like the driver could've came out the hole alot harder than he did...is it because something may break maybe it would just spin too much?
Keith -
Really, I mean REALLY? Sloss has a big enough ego and you're going
to feed it some more. I expected better from you.
Have you ever heard a power number from Sloss that you believed? If he is saying his car made 1100 and change you know damn well that he is sandbagging.
Ok - enough with that little rant, on to the next post.

I showed up at UGR yesterday with very high expectations. I am back in Minnesota tonight a very happy man.
The car is amazing. How they get all this done in a 6-8 week period is beyond me. The quality and craftsmanship of the build is first class all the way. The shop and facilities are clean and organized and you can tell all the employees really enjoy their jobs.
Driving around town, through parking lots, sitting at lights. The car idles perfect and drives like a stock car.
I went for a ride with KC in my car to start. There really isn't enough superlatives to discribe that first hit on high boost. The car just goes and you have tunnel vision and it just keeps pulling and pulling. Kind of cool to spin all four tires in 3rd gear.
We stopped and switched drivers. Now it was my turn to experience this beast first hand. I started out on setting 1 which is 800+whp. Hit it third and away we go. Amazed how linear the power comes on and how easy it is to drive. After a few blast to get used to the car I turn it to setting 3 -which is about 1300 rwhp - skipped right over the 1000whp setting two. Game on - this car is stupid fast. Peter Blach and I were just ripping up the NC countryside.
I am beyond happy with this car and the work done by Underground Racing. Any doubts I had about doing a build like this are a distant memory.
I'll post up some pics tomorrow and hopefully we will have some good video considering Jamie Carter was hanging out the window of a rental at 100 mph. Jamie - I've said it before and I'll say it again. You are a crazy SOB.
It was a great trip. I'm glad everybody made the trip and hope everyone had as much fun as I did. It was a lot of fun hanging out with Kevin & KC from UGR. Kyle of TopGunCustomz along with his web guy Patrick. Tim "I haven't seen a rental car yet that I'm not willing to destroy" Iacoli. And of course Peter Blach and his son Justin who had the same wonderful experience that I had with my son Nick for the last couple of days.

Man, what a great trip! You summed it up well Eric...it was a blast, now i'm going to be living in the past until the car gets to Houston. I think I'm going to go ahead and do an E85 tune as well....why not?
