Supraforum has a frequently updated thread and the concensous is there are way too many idiots out there to have a good time. A fight broke out at the bikini contest, idiots getting arrested doing burnouts right in front of police, and a majority of the people hanging out there aren't even tx2k participants.
anything with a bikini contest is bound to bring out the lowest common denominator.
make the event private, and charge a $1000+ entry fee per car... that should weed out most of the idiots and ******baggery.... maybe not 100%, but certainly get rid of a lot.

I'm guessing at some point in the near future they will nix the night meet. It seems to attract all the baffoons and has grown into a bigger cluster F every year.
Do the bikini contest at the track...something like the MIR World Cup....focus the event more on the track.
The Omni/street action could continue, but that night meet at Frankensteins looks like its becoming more trouble than its worth.

Eric's white TTG hauls *** and the GTRs (T1R and BL)he ran had to step it up to compete.
The runs were great and all cars showed why they are top level runners.

Word is that the BL GTR and the UGR TTG ran 5-6 times, with the GTR winning once and the UGR TTG winning the rest. This is what they are saying over on the GTR forums, it's not coming from me.
