Out of curiousity, who posted it and where? Should be no reason to hide it if it's already on 'another forum'.
And I want to know why I had to have the luck of getting towed back!?! I was going to ask Kevin to verify which turbo puked, pull it, cap the gate, and go back out and run Nero Saturday night....

What is nice is that I have read his response to me and he recanted his statement. Hope this clears the air with everyone. I apologise if I offended anyone with this post... but I assure you it was only to show the reliability of the TTG builds out there and that this was information was simply not true.

I will let the owner of the post remain anonymous until he chooses to man up. The forum I speak of is invite only. A few people on this site can verify it exists and of the post this person threw up. All I was doing is trying to clear up misinformation because I knew it to be false. Suffice to say there was also other stuff mentioned that should this person choose to post would be interesting to hear everyones response as well. I chose to post up about it here because I know each of you are on here and can verify that this was BS first hand.

Unless you are talking about Watergate (something extreme) or mom's baked cookies (something trivial), nobody has any business attributing bull**** to "an anonymous source."
It's a cop-out: "This isn't me, it's an anonymous source that I'm just trying to vet as a concerned citizen."
Bull****. You're no journalist who made an agreement with a source to keep his identity a secret. You're no journalist with a secret in to an Illuminati underground racing forum where you picked up a 'rumor' that you exposed in a feature article in Time magazine.
The "anonymous source" defense is, was, and always will be: bull****. Unless you're informing about Watergate, it's bull****. Proclaiming "I'm about to say some ****, but I should be completely unaccountable because what I'm saying is something I heard from someone else" isn't noble, avoiding consequences isn't noble, it's unfair to the victim of your bull****, we can't verify the motivation of the 'anonymous source' because we don't know who they are.
It's inflammatory and it's undefensible. My G is stock so I don't have a dog in this fight, I just can't stand this anonymous source argument.

I don't own a car with any mods at the moment, don't have a horse in the race, or a favorite shop to represent. I wasn't at TX2k this year or any. take it as the same uniformed nonsense you come across when looking for volvo chip tuner information on a Hyundai board's regional Colombian chapter. At best you get the truth through 30 people playing telephone. at worse you get random bs. So correction made, not just a recant, and looking stupid aside.. hope no one is permanently offended.

Regardless guys... my concence is clear. Actually what I did on the other forum was give UGR and GTT's in general more credibility than what was originally said or stated in this other guys post. I'm not gonna defend my credibility here as those of you who know me know I don't sling mud and am a HUGE FAN OF UGR!
I choose not to say who this person is because it's not my place to man up to the words that were said.
Maybe I should have gone another route getting the truth. but I figured if MUD was being thrown on the DL then the truth (which I already knew) should be told by those WHO WERE THERE AND OWNED THOSE CARS.
I apologise if I went the wrong route. but often to hear the truth you must go straight to the source and I consider the forums here one of those sources.
