So how much power for the Stage 1 on race (if that's what it's running on)?

I would say anything over 750whp with Race fuel is risky with a Stage 1 kit. There are not very many cars with long histories to claim that the stock engine will sustain more than that for long term use. Although we have had very good luck so far with much more power than that.

With that said, it was making about 1000whp using E85 fuel in that video.

Yeah, that was what I guessed looking at its relative performance against that Corvette.

Im actually surprised a 800whp corvette cant pull a bolt on TTG. I doubt that TTG can trap over 140. That vette has the power to trap in the mid 140's or higher

You're surprised a 800whp (through an auto) Corvette couldn't pull a 1000whp TT Gallardo? I would hope it traps higher than 140mph

sorry I just read that it was running 1,000. I didnt read page 2.

I assumed 750whp since it was a bolt on

What's the life expectancy of a stock engine with a bolt on?

I had a bolt on TT Gallardo making 700 rwhp and I beat the living daylights out of it for 10K miles and the worst thing that happened to it was a blown turbo seal.

These cars are amazing with an amazing modding platform. I miss my TTG..

I don't think I've had mine below 800whp in about 3k miles. I've driven it so hard I almost feel guilty...almost.

Only problem is, just like every other platform you get use to the power and want more.
