I've got one that has it and I almost bought one that did not
so I looked into pricing and was told it was $9000 for the hood, unpainted and uninstalled.

Very happy I found it already with one

What I don't like about the bonnet is that it obscures quite a bit of the engine. If you look at the picture, theres a blacked out area in the glass that covers a good part of the cylinder heads. Not nearly as cool as the Modena, and priced a bit high...

Yes. and one more benefit is that when you wash the G, you can wash it normally. Without the clear engine bonnet, you have to becareful so that the water don't go into the engine through the vents.

If your dealer orders the unit between June 1 and June 31 the glass cover is about $4,600 uninstalled, not painted and not shipped. (normally 7K if ordered after the fact and not on the car) I just had Silicon Valley Auto Group order me one.

Lamborghini is running a special on quite a few parts and this is one of them.

You can contact Rich in parts and the # is 408-377-7200

You suppose there are any over-heating problems with the clear plexiglass over the engine and no vents?

The factory cover is glass for the Gallardo - 06 will finally bring a glass cover for the Murcielago too. I plan on getting one.

Just brought the new painted wheels to the dealer where the car is. Hope to get it back by friday. The sound is awsome and the blackedout tail lights and dark rims make it very nasty looking.

Will post pix soon

it is hot. but it's true, it's no where near as revealing as the 360's.
