Completely agree, even with modest drivetrain % loses 1550 awhp translates into 1900-2000hp.

why does everyone use a % for drivetrain loss??, if a car is stock and you lose say 80whp, then you get a tune that gains 100whp, why would the drive train loss also increase?? it should be a fixed number unless drivetrain parts are changed

I believe UGR cars are dynoed on a rwd dyno which helps them pick up alil HP on the dyno
Dyno are just a tuning tool and the real story is on vbox #s and track/street
UGR has a stellar record there. There cars are fast, but so are alot of other cars going.
You never know, anything can happen, thats why we race

I dont think these UGR cars power levels are correct
When Kevin is around, IMO.... those cars are turned up more then stage 3 1250 and R - 1550... But what do i know, i somewhat new to this game
Then again i had my car turned up to 980/870 on a clutch that was for 850/650 when i needed the car to be...which was pretty often lol

There have been plenty of low 8 and faster race cars that have tried the lambos on the street. when they break boost they are accelerating as fast or faster than you do on the track. Good luck attempting that on the street in rwd form. SO even if they get the hit and pull two on ya. You will then have to have a couple hundred more to run them down and pass them. Also You will need to run 180 to run with the fast cars in 1500 feet from 60mph..
Im trying to make at least 1600rwhp before T.I and I know how much power I can use in second. I can do the 1/2 mile roll race with one shift. Second and third. Third will go 185-190 in my car
I also just bought a wrecked lambo. Im building a awd Ford GT NOT....
See ya all soon..

Say you have a 500 horsepower car that lost 80whp...If you put that same engine behind a car that makes 80 horsepower, the car would definitely be able to spin the dyno and produce a number of 60-70 horsepower or whatever. Just because that tranny took away 80 whp doesn't mean a car making 80 horsepower couldnt spin it.
The loss comes from having to accelerate the rotating mass of the parts (shafts/gears/wheels etc.). The faster you try and accelerate them (which is happening on a dyno), the more power it takes to do so. Therefore, the more power you are making and attempting to spin said parts, the more power you lose (so a percentage).

I hope this doesn't happen @ the TI race

Hope this doesn't happen to you (Eddie) at TI.
looks like a 15 second 1/4 at 1200 hp.
