If you don't want to go with any of this aftermarkets options you can always go on ebay and get the original airbox...

 

but how dangerous is it to drive like this ???

 

Can you imagine if we didn't have lungs? What would filter the air we breath?

 

To answer your question, it really isn't dangerous.....the box still channels air through it, into your intake manifolds. Think of it as a "cold air intake" you see on other vehicles where they have just a large K&N filter....I would remove all the loose screws and if it makes you feel better for the time being, see if you can use jipties....

This is not good because it's the bolt that are stripped in the underbox the top left and right are A1...
