Lamborghini Huracán
Here is one recent example, posted today on rennlist (unfortunately it's a french magazine)
GT-R does 0-100km/h in 3.3 sec., same as Mclaren and 0.2 slower than 991 TTS (all used launch control)
Here's some explanation I just found on a a german car forum (note that nissan claims 0-100km:h in 2.8 sec.!!):

A couple of tests by C&D (that include 5-60mph) to show why that speculation is poor:
Zero to 60 mph: 2.9 sec
Rolling start, 5-60 mph: 3.8 sec
Another: 0-60 3.0 sec
5-60mph 3.7 sec.
Finally these are (supposed to be) stock Dragtimes of the Nissan GT-R and 911TT. Notice the 60ft times and the ETs, how close they are? Also the trap speeds would indicate they are stock. Yes the Porsche is quicker. Did Nissan lie or exaggerate about the 0-60mph? I would say no. The 60ft time is very telling.

I agree on the fact that weather conditions definitely can make a difference.
However, I still feel that Nissan's claims do not match with the real world, at least for what they claim here in Europe. If the GT-R does 0-60 mph in 2.8 sec, how could it be possible that it does 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in the same time??!
That said... The petrolhead in me certainly respects Nissan and their GT-R for what they've achieved, no matter if their claims are right or not. One thing for sure, the car is unbelievably fast for such an heavy pig and not only in a straight line, but it's even more impressive on a lap. The fact that I don't like the car is only a matter of personal taste, but I do admit that you get a well sorted out package for a lot less money than its opponents, just like you get with the C7 Corvette.
For me however, a car needs to have much more than just performance. It's nice to have such a fast car, but it's nicer to have a car that is fast, but also nice to look at and drive in on a daily base, even if that is two times as expensive than the GT-R. I guess that I'm just not a fan of Japanese (and American) cars in general.
Different people, different tastes. We are lucky to have so much choice of great cars these days, don't you think?

Deuce road and track has gone 0-60 in 2.98s with 12 Gtr and 2.84s with a 11 997 911 turbo S. Everyone that has driven the nismo with 600hp auto express, C&D and a couple others all think it will go faster than 2.3-2.4 after driving it, it is easily capable of those numbers with its current power levels. Now why is a 991 TTS so much damn slower than a 997TT lol, I'd be pissed.

Auto express is a mag and they have driven it already and has car and driver has as well. The nismo will be lighter than current GTR as well as having bigger turbos so it will be making more power throughout the whole powerband. It will have more aggressive gearing as well. The 0-60mph under 2.5s should be rather easily achievable.

It's not touching 2.4s nor 2.5s either. I'd love to see it happen, any significant acceleration accomplishment is exciting, but the numbers being reported just don't support it.

Yes definitely worth attending just to see it first hand although you have to sit and listen to a 20 minute speech by their rep about how great the car is. Very business like setting.
Also they confiscated all camera's and phones so no pics could be taken. Don't understand that since the car is being shown and is no longer a secret.
As opposed to the party-like setting that was present at the Speciale unveiling. No speeches...just lights, cameras, roll em !!!

2.81 to 60mph, 2.88 to 62mph.
