Dustin's Underground Racing TT Gallardo WINS WannaGoFast GA event **Video**
Here is the Underground Racing event video from the GA WannaGoFast 1/2 mile event. Dustin's Underground Racing TT Superleggera set the event record at 218 mph, and then backed it up with 2 passes over 219 mph. Dustin's car is 100% a street car. It's also using the factory E-gear electronics. Keep in mind that the elevation was near 3,000 feet and it was hot with around 90% humidity. These cars are going to fly closer to sea level with better weather. We were glad to see Dustin get this win given that it was near his home town of Atlanta, GA. Expect more videos of Dustin's TT Lamborghini at the Texas Invitational next weekend. The R8 never got a full pass, testing some new stuff, more coming soon from that beast

I was really impressed with how we kept getting faster as the day went on because the weather kept getting hotter and the humidity kept rising. Not only that but the wind flipped and we were racing into the wind later on. Just crazy to keep getting faster as the day went on.
The DA was +6,000 when the car went 219.5xx. Took off pretty damn fast in 1st gear this pass with the factory E Gear. I just want everyone to notice that. The car is so streetable, because it is a street car. It takes off so smooth from a stop on the street.
Looks like KC hit the gas at the qtr mile mark, for real lol. Holy smokes!
The event record has been 200-203 the past 3 years. We shattered it, with the AC on lol. Really is just a hard place to go fast but everyone has to deal with the same conditions so really not an issue.
These events are so much fun. Awesome to meet everyone and just hang out. I look forward to TI and seeing everyone again.

is it just me or does it seem like the R8 shifts a bit quicker from 4-5 and from 5-6? the blip from the bov seems just a tad shorter on the R8 during those shifts, but i suppose there could be other reasons for that. nice runs!
duhawks, did you try taking a rip down this track? from all the vids you've posted, you've obviously got plenty of experience tearing up the streets! =)

Not the greatest fit with a helmet... Streets I do not have to wear a helmet.

Both shifts were at .19
