I was wondering how it is to daily drive a Huracan so I decided to rent one and this week I am commuting with an LP-610.... happy to share my impressions if you are interested!
Well, here are the pros and cons over a week where I daily commuted with it:
Pros:
- Easy to drive, as easy as a Golf
- Looks amazing, one of the best contemporary design I know (after the Aventador....)
- Good acceleration
- Ergonomics is good
- Auto mode is seamless, DSG is perfect
Cons:
- Easy to drive, as easy as a Golf
- Looks a bit small, not really frightening as you would expect from a raging bull
- Feels like it accelerates slower than my Modena... wait, I know this is wrong (the 360 has 30% less G on straight acceleration), it is just not impressive (I tested on track a few year ago and had the same feeling)
- Sound is... well, not interesting (compared to my other cars, DB9GT and 360)
- Turn signals are hard to use
- Doors do not open the Lambo way
- People don't really notice as I would have expected from various readings (but I am in Switzerland)
- Forged carbon of engine bay is... ugly
