Seven second quarter mile goal achieved @ Cicio Performance!
We have been pushing really hard with the V10 R8 and Huracan Platforms for the last year and these cars continue to impress us with the power potential they have and how amazing they drive even at crazy power levels!
Our latest accomplishment, which is one that we are super proud of, is running a 7 second ¼ mile with our Shop R8 which still utilizes the stock factory engine from Audi. Some people have asked if that just means the stock block. This is the original factory sealed engine that hasn’t been touched with simply added supporting mods such as turbo kit and fuel system.
Another item worth noting is that this was achieved on 18” wheels and tires that the car drives on the street with. This was not a 15” or even 17” drag setup specific to the track. While drag racing these cars can be fun, we here at Cicio are of the mindset that they are simply too good on the street to sacrifice any of that driveability or comfort in lue of making a 7 second pass. This car is also full weight, with factory seats and all.
For information purposes I would like to just mention that this isn’t something we would recommend a client expect from one of our stock engine packages.
For the last 15 years we have been pushing our development in order to find weak links so our clients don’t have to. While this is something that could easily be achieved again even on a customer's car, the risk of the factory engine failing at these power levels is a real one.
We would not want to falsely advertise and make anything think these results came with every one of our stock engine packages.

Our next event is right around the corner at TX2K 23! Our aim is to have a Cicio Performance in house built engine in this car by then where we will be shooting for a goal of 7.7 in the ¼ mile on a reliable all in house package! Stay tuned…..
