I had an 04 gallardo and that was very easy to lower, just twist and lower.. The 06 has a hydraulic lift mechanism in front and the car cannot be lowered in teh same manner...do the springs actually have to be removed and detensioned, lowered on teh thread and then re installed??

I have lowered 2 '05 G's with the front lift system the same way as I performed my ex '04

It is the same - Murcielago has the same system.

 

Yup, you have to cut the springs.

 

I saw the tech pull the wheel off, on the 06 there are two washers, when you move one they both spin and the car does NOT lower.....How should this car be lowered??
