Got The SE Tinted
Thanks for the compliments guys! The tint looks REALLY dark in these pics, in normal daylight it is not so dark! I have driven through rainstorms, overcast, and dark night and there is no issue whatsoever with vision (and i have horrible eyes!). Like I said it looks a lot darker in the pics!
As for the 996TT to Lambo Comparison...
I have not driven the SE super hard yet as it only has 500 miles and I am breaking it in a bit, but from what I can tell so far... Acceleration feels about the same as my level 2 996TT (Same HP and about same weight so it should I guess). Handling, the Gallardo blows the turbo away. I don't care if your TT has motons its not outhandling a STOCK gallardo (at least the SE with Corsa tires). Sound... obviously the gallardo sounds 20x better than the 996TT. Overal driving experience has to go to the Lambo EXCEPT daily driving. This car is pretty much my daily driver and I will say the 996 is better for this... The gallardo is just "harder" to drive. Steering, clutch, shifter, etc. are all STIFF. Its a great feeling being connected to the car, but it can get a little tiring (not a big deal, but the 996 is much easier to drive everyday). I still enjoy driving the car everday and the pluses by far outweigh the negatives! The only other negative (or positive somtimes) is the attention the car brings... My 996TT all done up brought a good deal of attention, but I can't go anywhere without a crowd forming around this car. I have to leave an extra 15mins planning in any trip for the lookers and questions
. It does draw quite a few ladies too, this is bad for me though as it just gets me in trouble with the girlfriend! I highly suggest you are single if you buy one of these
Best Regards,
Evan
PS- Probably not tinting the headlights, but you never know I guess....

Loving the car Evan. I don't think I would have tinted the windshield, but it does tie everything together nicely. I can imagine the attention the car brings. I had a yellow gallardo for a couple of hours and I must have had 15 people ask me about it and take pictures with their camera phones.
Evan,
Walked by the car the other day and I was surprised to see the front-winshield tinted, but it sure does look good!
Still waiting for a ride brotha and a friendly run with the CLS!

you are so gettin' a ticket. i give it a month
all kidding aside, there is no way that car is easy to see out of at night. you've already got illegal tint on the side windows (35% is the cut off in FL), so with the front and rear done, it's got to be dark as ****. i've been in cars like that before and it's dark... i can't imagine driving at night in the rain with that setup. never mind the light issues, even good tint cuts down on clarity.
be careful evan. don't rationalize it cause it looks cool. god forbid something bad happens. i'd put 5% on the side windows with a windshield strip before i'd do the whole front window.
