that whole thing was set up. They went to a company that installs sunroofs and asked them where they could cut. They allowed them to cut within a certain area and later on Bam went back to them and got a proper sunroof installed. No biggie.

Don't think he is that stupid to cut a hole in a Gallardo..
I don't like the guy but I think he is REALLY smart!
Making a ****load of money by only going around having fun (well, at least it fun to him...) with his friends and filming it.

That's a pretty old episode, When they shot that scence if I'm not mistaking Gallardos didn't have " rag tops " yet..
