Hey Hespie,

Too bad I wasn't with you on that run.

BTW, I thought you has some GPS test equipment thingy that you are using to accurately test your high speed runs. What was the actual speed indicated on the GPS on that run?

Hey man! you know you are always welcome to join whenever you want!!! except that we get out of bed a bit later than you guys! by the time you've got the pedal to the metal, we're only getting our coffee at Starbucks!

I'll be back home for vacation soon, i'll give you a call and maybe we can go driving together! you still owe me a ride in Godzilla! i'll bring some diapers

by the way, i've been using the GPS at the track. i haven't strapped it to the GT3 during a skyway run... BUT as I posted on another thread, i've noticed that even at low speed (say 120kmh,) i'm already seeing variance that seems to play between 4-7kmh. next time i'll strap it on and see what comes out at higher velocities.

someone mentioned around 1.9% difference for a Porsche speedo at vmax though...

um... i have a feeling Italian cars' speedos are a tad more optimistic than german speedos. i wouldn't know... i don't own an italian car!

if you want to borrow my GPS for your next run, just let me know!

Funny you mention that. I was thinking the driver must have been pissed he didn't hit 330kph while watching the vid.

Thanks for posting.

When can we expect some RT12 runs?

Seems dangerous to do high speed runs on public road even at light traffic. Awesome sounds though.
