Where to service?

As I contemplate buying a Lambo, I keep getting hung up on the service issue. The nearest Lambo dealer is 5 hours away from me? What happens when I need service? Sure, I could pay a transport service $1,000 to haul it, but I don't feel that is a wise use of money. What do other Lambo dealers do that are in this situation?

I suppose I can find someone local (Louisville, KY) that can service them, though they would not be factory authroized.

Thanks.

Dont service your Lambo to locals or unauthorized ones. They didnt give me a goodwill warranty due to local service done my oil and spark change. They didnt accept it.

What kind of car are you looking at? If you're looking for a post-Audi car like a Murcielago or a Gallardo, I'd not trust an independent. If you're going eGear definately not. Plus, lots of "updates" get done to these cars during regular service intervals for $0, so factory service is pretty important.

If you're going for a Diablo of some sort, then you're more likely to find a great independent shop to work with...
