Is the '08 Gallardo the last before re-design?

Curious if the '08 model will be the last for the current design/drivetrain Gallardo.

I doubt it, weren't there talks of a V8 variant? Plus the Murcielago is odler than the Gallardo isn't it so wouldn't it be first in line?

I thought I read somewhere (can't remember where) that the new Gallardo was going to drop the AWD...does this sound correct?
