I've driven a lot of mk3, mk4, and SC300 -- Anything is possible with mods, but as a stock car, it has a lot of body roll and is slightly front heavy, therefore is real ****ty at quick transitions such as slalom or chicane type situations. There's a lot of rubber under the car, so max grip for sweeping turns is not a problem. The car just never feels nimble.
I thought it was because of the ~3600 lb curb weight, but almost every other car I've owned, even the w202 Mercedes, has been about as heavy but had much more nimble handling, even completely stock. I've never driven a 3000GT/Stealth, so can't compare directly.

it's all about suspension. Stock, they handle like crap. But you can make any car handle well and I have seen some really good ones. One of the reasons is that much of the weight is high on the car. But again look at the nissan GTR and how it handles and it has lots of weight high, so it's all suspension

haha. I think I've done EVERYTHING you can possibly do to a Supra in that car. With the exception of converting one to all wheel drive, I don't really know what else you could even do to the car to improve it. My bank account still hurts from building this car. haha
