Too funny. Well I am certainly glad you got out of that. I had some serious electrical, mechanical problems with my Audi. At the end of the day I was really glad I had leased and not bought.

Now if only the IS-F came in stick

Exclamation

considering lexus has all the parts already being made, i'm not sure why they haven't made an IS-F hardtop convertible yet. They'd just have to take the rear end of the IS350C, and put on the front clip of the IS-F. (hood, fenders, motor). And then of course use all the IS-F upgrades, like wheels, brakes, 8spd transmission. I'm not sure if it would be a huge seller, but it certainly wouldnt cost Lexus much to build it since they already produce all the parts to do it. I'm sure they could sell it for less than their SC430 used to sell it and it would be better in every possible way.

Lexus IMO doesn't need to make a manual IS-F. C63 is a 7 speed, new BMW offering is a 7 speed DCT.....most high performance cars are getting away from a true manual, Porsche with the awesome PDK, Audi with DSG etc. Better gas mileage, user friendly (traffic) and lightning quick shifts are all reasons. Plus because of the 8 speed slush, I can average 30 mpg on long road trips!

Screw that hard top convert crap. We want a proper fixed roof coupe with sleekness and the strength and stability to take advantage of every horse under the hood.

I'm sold on that LS. I'm currently driving an LS400 myself, but have been like a tiger waiting to pounce on a new LS... just need to take the leap

I've actually been hounding my local dealership about LS-F info... the more they use that V10 (GS-F, LS-F), the more it offsets the cost of the LF-A... but they swear that there's no plans for an LS-F.

How's the IS-F?

To those of you who've posted their GS'... how are they as daily drivers? I don't drive my LS everyday- although I should be.
