Excellent SUV A lot of luxury options, excellent ride and good engine torque. Great service at dealer.

That's probably the most comfortable SUV I've driven.

I have a lx470 and can honestly say I would never consider selling this car. It's hands down the best SUV i've been in. I hear the 570 is just as great...although i don't care for the body styling.

i would agree .... i have had an lx 470 for 10 yrs and it has 170k miles. i would never sell it. buy the best example with the fewest miles. the 570 has more air bags and is less attractive. here it is. oh btw you'll need room in your garage -- what about selling me your 993tt?

That looks like a prime example of a lx470!

that looks nice. I agree the 470 looks better than the 570. I test drove one recently and still cant decide between the 570 and a full size rr

Folks seem to love those things. I know someone who has a LX470 with over 300k on it.

We have been driving LX's and Landcruisers for generations.

They are, as the OP said the only alternative to a fullsize range rover!

We had the LX470 (2003) back in the day and then ordered the LX570 in 2007 and have have been driving that since, one of the first ones that arrived in canada.

Honestly, the LX570 styling is very futuristic, and gets a lot of looks, not as boxy as the old one, and not too many on the road!
But to each his own.

get one if you can, you will not be disappointed, its almost as quiet as the Ls460/600 which says a lot about how comfortable this 570 is!

In terms of reliability, its a lexus so

I have an 07' Full size RR supercharged and recently was considering a trade in for the LX570. I test drove the LX570 and could not really feel a difference with how smooth or quietly it drove. The range rover is smaller and much better looking IMO but the LX570 offers that piece of mind of build quality that Rover can not give. I have had no issues with the engine or drive train with my rover, but there have been many issues with interior and exterior cosmetic things (eg. windshield seal coming loose, door handles peeling a film, sunroof not working, back-up camera needed replacing and etc.) But overall in the back of my mind I worry that one day something major will break down on it. When all is well with it, I really love it. And they are not discounting the LX570 at all!
Also IMO I love the look of it, much more then the lx470.
Hope that helps.
