The Macan Microsite has been updated with the following videos:

-Dubai Testing (Dubai Spyshots that are floating around, and sand dune footage from the teaser video)
-California On/Off Road Testing (where the Official spyshots were derived from and auto-press were invited for ride-alongs)

So , pdk or old tiptronic ?
If it has a pdk will it be like nissan juke R , with a switzer p700 , beating veyrons at moscow unlimited :p

All engines get a 7-speed PDK, even the diesels. No tiptronics in the Macan, although I think they will make an exception for the hybrid when that comes (2015?)

Thats thats very good , tiptronic for example in cayenne is very very lazzy , you have to downshoft everytime to eleminate a little bit the turbo lag

No talk of a base Macan, yet, right?

At $49,500, a base Cayenne comes in under the Macan. I have to wonder how that will affect sales to both. A Macan S or base (6spd) Cayenne for the same price. At this price point, the Macan would be a no-brainer for me. And this from a Cayenne lover!

The 4 cylinder Macan comes early 2015. Only China gets a 4-cylinder right from the start, but that is an Audi engine (from S3) according to the article. The base Macan for EU en US will get a different engine.
Didn't know you can get a 6-speed in the Cayenne in the U.S.... As far as I know, we don't have that, although to be hinest, I've never looked at a Cayenne. It's too big for my needs. Haha


EDIT: We do get a 6-speed in the base Cayenne :o (never noticed it...)
