Getting Ready to Order Macan S
Getting ready to order a Macan S for my wife and am learning a lot about Porsche USA financing. First time in my life I have run into MMR on a lease. Basically Porsche sets a limit for options included in a lease for a car (Macan S = $61,100) and all options added passed that point are included in the lease at 100% depreciation, not at the difference between residual value and purchase price. This inflates the lease for a Porsche that is optioned heavily (in their opinion).
So here is my build:
http://www.porsche.com/microsite/por...e/?c=/PFF2ZVN5
Price will be $66,285, so well past MMR limit. I don't think I went too crazy, just built a well optioned car. I didn't even include Air Suspension with PASM and Adaptive Cruise Control with PAS, which I was tempted to do, but that put the build way over the top I think.
Be interested in comments on options chosen.

I cannot fault your options. I thought infotainment was part of the Premium PLus package though. I like the contrasting black side blades with the white paint too.
Pathetic how Porsche confirms diminished return on options for resale with their lease slight of hand crap.

If I were looking at >$66k and knowing that Porsche was going to penalize me on the lease payment, I would switch my order to a Turbo which probably has a good chunk of the options you want. Then add only the options you really must have. Alternatively, you could consider buying instead of leasing. You will probably still lose money on your 'excessive' options, but at least you won't have to drive that car around for years knowing you've been 'had' from the beginning.

What comes standard options on the turbo which you have to pay for on the S?
Is PTV necessary since these are full time awd and worth the money?

Switched entirely for now and bought a 4S. Great car and very happy with it, awesome to drive. Will wait a couple of years and look at Macan again.
P.S. have Air Suspension with PASM and Adaptive Cruise Control
