That is ridiculous. The Macan is out now.

I really like the Macan except the rear sloping roof. Makes it look like a wagon.
Its a tough choice between a Macan Turbo or Cayenne GTS/used Turbo.
Cayenne is only 6 shorter than Macan.

 

It's a bigger 911? Ok. I understand it's a Porsche but it's a SUV that has some sportiness to it.

 

You meant longer I believe.

 

In Macan Training for sales people, their mantra is : It's a bigger 911.
They do not reference the Cayenne at all. I'm sure the marketing department thinks that this will bring them more sales but it came off as tunnel vision to me.

 

I get that the Macan handles very nicely for the type of vehicle that it is, but I think it is disingenuous to suggest it is anything like a 911. It isn't.
